Planting the Seeds of My Teaching Journey

Over the past 15 weeks, I have been student teaching at the Selinsgrove Area High School. The last 15 weeks have been filled with some fun and rewarding experiences, but also some challenges. During this time, I have learned so much about what it truly means to be a teacher. Going into student teaching, I knew it would be a learning experience, but I did not realize just how much I would grow both personally and professionally. Each day brought something new, whether it was teaching a lesson, helping a student understand a concept, or figuring out how to handle unexpected situations in the classroom. One of the most rewarding parts of my experience was building relationships with the students. Getting to know them, their personalities, and how they learn best made teaching more meaningful. It was exciting to see students start to understand material and gain confidence in themselves. Those small moments made a big impact on me and reminded me why I chose this career path.
